As a Jersey girl and someone who came up loving this era of emo and pop-punk, this one was especially fun for me. 🤘🌹
Tokyo Rose is officially back — not just reuniting, but making new music and getting back on the road nearly 20 years later.
Their new EP Never Say Die marks their first new music in almost two decades, and now they’re out playing select dates with Punchline on the 37 Everywhere 20th anniversary tour.
I got to catch up with the guys about what brought them back together, what it feels like stepping onstage as Tokyo Rose again, and how different it all looks this time around.
And yes, two Jersey kids had to talk Wawa. Obviously. 😂
Really cool to see a band from this chapter of music come back with something new to say — and even cooler getting to talk to them about it. 🎙️
